When Zac Dunlevy was in sixth grade, he wrote a report about what he planned to do when he grew up. The story he wrote about being a future tattoo artist turned out to be prophetic as he is the co-owner of Tattoo Tech II with Larry Joseph, located at 5470 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights.

Splash pad encounters maintenance issues
During the Huber Heights City Council meeting Monday night, Council received an update from Finance Director Donnie Jones on recent difficulties experienced at the splash pad after Council member David Wilson said it was down part of the day Saturday.

Council approves major change to Detailed Development Plan for Huber Health Center
At its regular meeting Monday night, the Huber Heights City Council held two public hearings. One involved an application by the city of Huber Heights requesting approval of a rezoning and lot split of the subject property from PM (Planned Mixed Use District) to PP (Planned Public and Private Buildings and Grounds District). The property is located along the north side of Carriage Trails Boulevard.

Huber Heights Masonic Lodge No. 777, located in Huber Heights, has contributed funds in the amount of $3,500 to sponsor 30 athletes to compete in the 2010 Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games.

Huber Health Center set to add $8 million two-story section with Emergency Department
Grandview Medical Center officials have announced plans to create a two-story, 30,000-square-foot addition at the Huber Health Center, 8701 Old Troy Pike. It includes a new freestanding Emergency Department which will occupy the first floor.
