Warriors come up blank in Herbstreit Classic
After an opening half last week that saw the Wayne Warriors rack up 28 points on Moeller, it appeared the sky was the limit for this Warrior football team. Now, six scoreless quarters later, and with star quarterback Braxton Miller and his back up, Javon Harrison, sidelined due to injuries, the Warriors are staring at an uphill climb to make the playoffs after Sunday's 26-0 loss to Canton McKinley in the Kirk Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic at Ohio Stadium.

Value of citizen survey questioned at Council
During Citizen Comments at the Huber Heights City Council meeting on Aug. 23, Nelson Shultz said he was upset when he received a phone call to take a citizen survey. He said the 18 question survey included whether the community wanted a swimming pool and soft water.
